I'm a web designer/developer by profession. I run a vegan cake social group called Vegan Cake and Tea.

I'm using this space to write about my experiences with freelancing in the UK. How does self-employment & entrepreneurship work? Well, lots of ways; here's one of them.

I used to work for an international designer fashion company; I resigned to work for myself in May 2009. Since then I've contracted for the most fashion-conscious beauty and health retailer. If you're interested in my employment history, there are more details on my LinkedIn profile.

I'm interested in making connections with people, especially freelance web designers, writers and entrepreneurs, especially vegans, especially in the UK. People are fascinating. :)
